The first thing you need to know about Miss America is that, if you insist on making her angry (and that's not particularly hard to achieve), your detached head may end up orbiting the Moon. Apart from that she’s an excellent companion when you are travelling between dimensions while chased by all kind of horrors. She can also kick the ass of those horrors.
And she doesn’t specially like when Loki does his magic tricks. Or when he speaks. Or his mere existence. Too bad they were bounded together by some failed “altering-the-very-fabric-of-reality” spell. I mean, too bad for Loki.
If you haven’t read the second volume of Young Avengers, flawlessly written by Kieron Gillen and impeccably drawn by Jaimie Mckelvie, you should. Your inner awkward teenager will love it. And seriously, now that the run has ended, I feel a void in my heart.

Miss América es un personaje realmente complejo, pero como dato introductorio: si persistes en enfadarla, puede que tu cabeza decapitada acabe orbitando la luna. O formando parte de un anillo de Saturno, depende del día (hay días que se levanta de buen humor). Por lo demás es una magnífica compañía si te encuentras viajando entre dimensiones paralelas mientras te persiguen toda clase de horrores. También sabe patearle el culo a toda clase de horrores.
Otro dato introductorio es que no le gusta demasiado cuando Loki anda jugando con magia. O cuando Loki habla. O su mera existencia. Desgraciadamente un conjuro fallido, pensado para alterar el mismo tejido de la realidad, hace que tengan que trabajar juntos. Desgraciadamente para Loki, quiero decir.
Si aún no has leído la nueva etapa de Jóvenes Vengadores (que lamentablemente ya ha llegado a su fin dejando un vacío en mi corazón D: ), magníficamente escrita por Kieron Gillen e impecablemente dibujada por Jaimie Mckelvie, deberías hacerlo. Deberías pero ya. Le va a encantar a tu ligeramente patético adolescente interior.
